Serving Hampton Roads families since 2016 | Licensed Virginia personal care agency | [email protected]

You're already doing the work.

The rides to appointments. The meals. The medications. The late nights when you're worried and nobody else is there.

You didn't ask for a pat on the back. You did it because that's family.

But what if family caregiving could come with a paycheck?

How it works

1. Tell us about your situation.

Fill out the short form. Our team will contact you to discuss your situation, program requirements, and next steps.

2. Get set up as a paid caregiver.

We walk you through every step... the paperwork, the requirements, all of it. You won't be figuring this out alone.

3. Get paid for authorized care.

Once services and caregiver enrollment are approved, payment is for authorized care provided and documented under program requirements.

Who this is for

This program may be a fit if:

  • You care for a parent, grandparent, spouse, or other loved one in our Hampton Roads service area
  • Your loved one needs help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, or getting around
  • Your loved one qualifies for Medicaid (we'll help you figure this part out)

Caregivers may qualify as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), nursing assistant, or Home Health Aide (HHA), or by completing training through our agency. All caregivers must be able to pass a background check. Spouses may qualify, subject to program requirements.

FAQ

What training and background checks are required?

Caregivers should be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), nursing assistant, or Home Health Aide (HHA), or complete training through our agency. You can start without those credentials and receive agency training to become eligible. All caregivers must be able to pass a background check. Our team will explain enrollment and training requirements when we talk.

Does my loved one have to be on Medicaid already?

Not necessarily when you first reach out. They'll need to qualify for Virginia Medicaid for the program, and we'll help you understand what that means for your situation.

What if I live with the person I care for?

Possibly... it depends on the program's requirements. We'll go over what's needed when we talk.

How long does it take to get approved?

It depends on your situation. We'll give you a straight answer about timing after we discuss your situation.

Is there a cost to apply?

No. Filling out the form and talking with us costs you nothing.
